Shauna Simpson, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing compassionate, individualized mental health care. For the past two years, Shauna has been part of the Mental Health Center team as a registered nurse, providing ketamine infusions and supporting patients throughout their treatment experience. She is excited to continue caring for patients in her new role as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
 

Shauna provides psychiatric evaluations, ketamine treatment, and medication management, with a particular interest in helping individuals who have struggled to find relief through traditional approaches. Her experience working directly with patients receiving ketamine has given her a unique perspective on the treatment process and the importance of creating a safe, supportive environment throughout care.
 

Shauna believes that effective mental health treatment begins with listening and understanding each patient as a whole person. She takes a collaborative, holistic, and nonjudgmental approach to care, working with patients to understand their experiences, goals, and concerns and to develop treatment plans that are individualized to their needs
